Community Leadership Program

It has been remarkable to be involved in CLP! The program allows you the opportunity to get a backstage view at the major stakeholders in the area that are out there doing the work to make our community a better place, garnering better understating of important sectors we may have had little knowledge of previously. I feel more connected to my city than ever, plus you build such a strong bond with your fellow classmates that will last far outside the program. I aspire to take the collective experiences I had to bridge my own community engagement and impact. Thank you, CLP!

I've long been interested in the CLP program, and I finally was able to participate this past year. It did not disappoint! The opportunity to learn about so many different aspects of our community that I would not otherwise be exposed to makes me a better, more effective businesswoman. My capacity for creating meaningful connections among these new networks is markedly improved.

Moving to the area less than a year before the pandemic, I was really missing a connection to my new community and business leaders. CLP gave me an opportunity to learn about different sectors of our community and develop a strong network of leaders that I can now truly call friends. The community projects are a great opportunity to work on a passion project that improves the community. It’s amazing what we can accomplish with the unified power of caring, educated community members!

I would challenge anyone to find an engaged and active community leader that has not been involved in CLP in some manner.
