Vintage Cooperatives founder Jeff Ewing started building housing for seniors because of his childhood memory of his grandfather. His grandfather was paralyzed from a farming accident in his late 30’s and was taken off the farm and away from family and had to live in a cold, uninviting nursing home. Jeff was determined to develop a warm and welcoming environment where people could live.
Their business is unique because they take time to really listen to their customers and learn about their needs. They want to make sure they feel educated & comfortable about their decision. The fun really begins when they host monthly meetings and see the community come together well before the building actually opens.
The folks at Vintage Cooperatives feel rewarded and inspired by their ability to help their customers through a difficult transition out of their home and into a new living environment. Through this process they form a bond with each customer because of the ups and downs that comes with a major life decision that ultimately results in their client finding their new home.
